Congress Passes Paycheck Protection Program Extension
7.2.2020 | Client Alert – COVID-19 Update
Originally slated to expire on June 30, 2020, both the House and Senate have passed a bill that will extend the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) application window to August 8, 2020. The bill has been sent to the President’s desk where it is expected to be signed into law.
With approximately $130 billion in funds remaining, potential borrowers now have several more weeks to consider applying for a PPP loan. Please see Berdon’s PPP Roundup for a detailed summary of the most up-to-date specifics of the program.
As always, please contact your Berdon Advisor for any PPP related questions.
