Berdon LLP’s number one priority is the safety of our clients and colleagues and for all those that have been impacted directly by the virus, our thoughts are with you and wish you a speedy recovery!
After careful review of the information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other state and federal organizations, we have urged our staff to work remotely, effective immediately, but have decided to keep our offices open with limited staff to support essential operations.
Fortunately, the firm has developed and successfully tested an IT infrastructure to support remote working capabilities and ensure continued secure service delivery to all of our clients. During this unprecedented time, our goal is to continue to serve as our clients’ trusted advisors and we are committed to continue to be available to them as we have since our founding in 1917. With that said, we do ask for everyone’s patience and collaboration to ensure we continue to meet both our clients’ business and accounting needs as well as any upcoming deadlines mandated by the IRS and other taxing authorities.
As mentioned in previous communications, we have also implemented other significant measures to support the directives issued by the CDC and New York State Government officials. As a Firm that has served the New York Metro community for more than 100 years, we take the current public health situation very seriously and are doing what we believe is necessary to preserve the health of our personnel and their families, while still meeting our commitment to our clients.
