Preeti P. Baliga, an audit partner at Berdon LLP, has nearly two decades of experience in public accounting. Ms. Baliga specializes in audits of government-assisted and subsidized housing and is adept in the requirements and regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the New York State Homes and Community Renewal (NYSHCR), the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (NYCHPD), and the New York City Housing Development Corporation (NYCHDC). Working with nonprofit and for-profit entities, she conducts audits, including Uniform Guidance audits and cost certifications for government-subsidized housing projects, nursing homes, and low income housing tax credit projects.
Ms. Baliga has particular expertise in:

Ms. Baliga earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s degree in personnel management and industrial relations at Mysore University in the state of Karnataka, India. She is licensed as a certified public accountant in New York and Texas.
