NEW YORK — Berdon LLP, Accountants and Advisors, is pleased to announce that Michael Angerhauser, CPA, CFF, CAMS, has joined as a Principal in the firm’s Litigation, Valuation & Dispute Resolution Group. Mr. Angerhauser brings more than 30 years combined experience in accounting, forensic and fraud investigations, compliance, and law enforcement.

His experience includes providing Independent Private Sector Inspector General (IPSIG) compliance monitoring services; Anti-Bribery and Corruption due diligence, compliance and investigation services; forensic accounting; Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering investigations and reviews. In addition, Michael has extensive experience conducting fraud investigations as well as providing asset tracing, forensic accounting and litigation support services.

Prior to joining Berdon, Mr. Angerhauser was a Senior Director in Navigant's Global Investigations & Compliance practice. He also spent 20 years with the New York City Police Department, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant-Detective Bureau/Forensic Investigation Division.
