NEW YORK — Three long-time members of the Firm have been named partners at Berdon LLP, Accountants and Advisors, effective January 1, 2015. The new partners include Jessica Blatt, CPA; Marc Fogel, CPA; and Travis Ludden, CPA.
Jessica Blatt, CPA
With 20 years of professional audit experience, Blatt serves clients in the real estate, manufacturing and hospitality industries. In that role, she advises clients on complex real estate transactions and partnership agreements and consults on high-level tax issues and internal controls. Blatt earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, cum laude, from SUNY-Albany and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). She is licensed as a CPA in New York State and resides in Livingston, NJ, with her husband and their two children.
Marc Fogel, CPA
Fogel, a Berdon professional for more than 15 years, primarily serves real estate clients with a wide range of specialized advisory services, with expertise in due diligence, tax escalations, and like-kind exchanges. A graduate of SUNY Binghamton, Fogel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA, where he serves on the Real Estate Committee. He is licensed as a CPA in New York State. Fogel, his wife, and two children reside in Old Bethpage, NY.
Travis Ludden, CPA
Ludden has been a member of the Berdon team for more than 15 years. He serves some of the Firm’s largest real estate clients, manufacturers and distributors, and nonprofit entities. Ludden specializes in cash flow analysis, internal control consulting, and tax advisory and also plays a key role in mentoring younger professionals on staff.
Ludden holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY-Binghamton and serves on the Real Estate Committee of the NYSSCPA. A member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA, he is licensed as a CPA in New York State. Ludden, his wife, and two children, reside in Seaford, NY.
